ALL ABOUT EVE

HI, since we are friends now, I thought you might want to get to know me a little bit better.  I am just your not so typical gardening obsessed housewife from Dallas, TX (that's zone 8a for you fellow gardeners).  I have always had an affinity for gardening, and tropical plants in particular.  I guess you could say it runs in the family.  When my grandfather passed away at the age of 96, we noticed that half of the photos in his keepsake box were of his precious elephant ears!

I have been an artist for as long as I can remember.  Painting and photography are my main hobbies, so when I started my Instagram account, @plantifulgoddess as another living art project, I thought it would be fun/slightly funny to use my newly planted tropical garden as fodder for portraying the stereotypical trophy wife lifestyle.  That is how plantiful goddess and the Plantasy LIFE came about!  

I do all of my own tricks you could say.   I am the photographer and the model, the gardener and the designer.  A lot of people might think that some of my images are a little steamy for a gardening blog, but it is how I convey emotion and add movement to an otherwise still world. I am there to show how the garden feels and if I had to pick one word to describe the feeling that I wanted to convey with my jungle is SULTRY.   I have loved every minute of creating content for my Instagram account.  I feel like my life and garden have become and extension of my art,  but for every image I share, there are 10 more.  That is where this blog comes in.  A place to be extra!

When I'm not living the plantasy life, I'm a yoga teacher, a painter, and a mom of three humans, three dogs, and three goldfish.  WHEW!
